If you get in your car one day, and the radio won’t turn on at all, it’s probably a power or ground issue. You might want to start by checking the fuses. If you find a blown fuse, try replacing it and then driving around for a while to see if it blows again.
2) Check for power. If you’re unable to reboot the radio or restart it by pressing the “Menu” button, then your radio may be experiencing a power issue. The easiest way to resolve this issue is to check the power cord of your radio. Make sure that there is a good connection between the head unit and your car’s battery.
The sound quality on DAB Radios is generally more robust compared to FM, where you will find an increase in background hiss in weaker areas. Being a digital system, DAB will either work or not work. Please note the audio quality is the hands of the broadcaster.
Everything but the DAB radio is working perfectly including FM/AM radio, CD player, bluetooth phone integration and full Mini-Connected integration from the iPhone (which is absolutely superb), loving Glympse and Audible support. I know I have a DAB signal in my area as the DAB radio in my last Mini worked fine after some initial coaxing (DejaVu!).
